FORD CELEBRATES ORIGINAL 1966 BRONCO WITH NEW BRONCO HERITAGE EDITIONS

The special-edition models will be available across the Bronco family lineup, including Bronco two-door, Bronco four-door. Ford will build just 1,966 units of each Heritage Limited Edition model to commemorate the year the original Bronco debuted.

Bronco two- and four-door Heritage models are highlighted by a two-tone paint job that includes signature Oxford White accents including the modular hardtop roof. A unique Oxford White grille features Race Red "FORD" lettering, while 17-inch aluminum heritage wheels painted in Oxford White and a bodyside stripe dial up the throwback looks.

Trail Toolbox

Bronco® offers three available trail technologies to elevate the outdoor experience - Trail Control, class-exclusive* Trail Turn Assist and Trail 1-Pedal Drive.

*Class is Medium Traditional Utility.
One-Pedal Drive is an extra driving aid. It does not replace the driver's attention and judgment, or the need to apply the brakes. See Owner's Manual for details and limitations.

Trail Turn Assist

This class-exclusive* feature assists the driver by reducing the vehicle's turning radius in low-speed, technical off-road environments that require large steering input. This is accomplished through application of negative (brake) torque to the inside rear wheel of the turning vehicle. Trail Turn Assist heightens off-road fun by reducing the driver's effort required to negotiate difficult off-road terrain.

Always consult the Owner's Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear.

Trail Control

Available with automatic transmissions, Trail Control is basically a cruise-control setting for lowspeed trail driving and relieves the stress of constantly adjusting throttle and braking when offroading.

Trail 1-Pedal Drive

Class-exclusive,* Trail 1-Pedal Drive augments Trail Control in more technical terrain. It enables very low-speed crawling and the ability to stop a vehicle without using the brake pedal. When the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, hydraulic brake torque is applied. Only available with 2.7L and 3.0L EcoBoost® engines with automatic transmission option.

SYNC® 4

The New Bronco® has a standard SYNC® 4 technology. The standard SYNC® 4 technology on Bronco comes with an eight-inch screen or the class-exclusive,* available 12-inch screen. SYNC® 4 will rely heavily on the cloud. However, it will still retain on-board processing power to minimize performance issues in dead zones - meaning your road trip is in good hands even when you go off the beaten path.**

**Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.

Ford Bronco SUV Interiors: Comfort Meets Durability

All Ford Bronco® models are purpose-built and ready for action. Pick the interior that's right for what you like to do. Depending on the series, the level of finishes goes from Standard (just the essentials) to Lux (big screen and amenities such as a heated steering wheel). Which interior you pick should depend on how dirty you plan to get, how much gear and passengers you want to carry and how much style and versatility you want to bring to the trails.

BRONCO™ DR IS BUILT WILD™.
NOW COMPETITION-LEVEL.

Building upon current Bronco two- and four-door models, the 2023 Bronco DR is made possible with the race-proven design and engineering experience of Ford Performance. In collaboration with the craftsmanship, motorsport innovation and suspension technology of Multimatic.

READY FOR ITS RACING DEBUT

With a premiere appearance planned for the 2022 Baja 1000, the Bronco™ DR will hit the sand powered by a Ford Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine.
Other competition-focused features include Multimatic Positional Selective DSSV™ Dampers, a Multimatic safety cage, 37-inch BFGoodrich® Mud-Terrain T/A® KM3 all-season tires and beadlock wheels.
An approach angle of 47 degrees, a departure angle of 37 degrees, and a breakover angle of 33 degrees all make it clear that the Bronco DR is a machine that's purpose-built for racing. To meet desert racing requirements and provide weight savings, the air conditioning system, interior amenities, and all glass have been removed.

BORN OF LEGEND

The SCORE Baja 1000 celebrates a 50+ year legacy as one of the most grueling off-road motorsports events on the planet. And in all those decades, only one 4x4 has won it outright - the Ford Bronco. The distinctive Bronco DR red and black livery continues a desert racing legacy that dates back to Rod Hall and Larry Minor's never-repeated overall 1969 Baja 1000 win, achieved in a stock Bronco.

A RARE BREED

Targeted to be the most powerful production Bronco ever, one thing is certain. It isn't built for everyone. As a limited-production vehicle, it is destined to become an instant off-road icon. The first 50 units of the 2023 Bronco DR are scheduled to be released in fall 2022. Or should we say… unleashed?
